I am writing
to tell you how pleased my sisters and I are with the care that
our mother is receiving at Deer Meadows.
Every staff
member we have met since we were given a tour of your facility
in May of 2001 has been courteous and professional. I have been
impressed as I walk about Deer Meadows how every staff member greets
the residents with a smile and almost always by name. I would surely
miss some people if I were to attempt to identify by name all those
who have worked with mom over the past years. I have had the privilege
of meeting most of them during my annual visits to Philadelphia.
My sisters
and I agree that there is one person who has worked with mom since
the beginning of her residence. who has been outstanding in every
way, both in the care he has given to mom and the manner in which
he has worked with us. His name is Norb Kuznicki. He is always
prepared for meetings. He is always prompt. Recently he was personally
responsible for locating mom's eyeglasses, which were misplaced
when she was admitted to Nazareth Hospital over a weekend, He has
developed a rapport with our mother, who has been diagnosed with
Alzheimer's, which has surely helped her acclimation to her new
home.
Our Mother
was a lay preacher for many years and visited many folks at Baptist
Home as well as conducting a prison ministry. She also was active
in the Good Shepherd ministry and worked with John and Carrie Byitte.
Carrie stops by to visit with her often.
Thank you
for providing a safe and pleasant environment for our mother.
