Meadows Retirement Community receives
grant from W.W. Smith
Deer Meadows Retirement Community, serving seniors for over 140
years, is located at 8300 Roosevelt Blvd in Northeast Philadelphia,
has received a grant for benevolent care support in the form of basic
necessities from the W.W. Smith Charitable Trust.
Located in Conshohocken,
PA the W. W. Smith Charitable Trust and has been a strong supporter
of the non-profit sector throughout the
Greater Philadelphia Region for many years. One of the Trust’s
key initiatives is to support the needs of senior adults in the community.
Currently, Deer Meadows provides more than $700,000 in financial
assistance for care to its residents annually through its Benevolent
Care Program. The $6,000 grant will be used by Deer Meadows to provide
for the purchasing of basic necessities for the residents who no
longer have the funds to provide for themselves privately.
